Soy de República Dominicana tierra del caribe con hermosas playas y lindas montañas, recientemente llegué a los Estados Unidos a trabajar en un hipódromo con caballos de carreras. Después de empezar mi trabajo he conocido la grandeza y la importancia de cada uno de los compañeros que trabajamos alrededor de este tipo de animal y también conocer la potencia y sensibilidad de los mismos. Este tipo de trabajo también me ha enseñado a reconocer y a darle el espacio merecido no solo a los caballos sino a todos los animales del planeta ya que somos los seres humanos los que invadimos su territorio.
Dentro del hipódromo he tenido la experiencia de ver la fortaleza y el duro entrenamiento que lleva cada uno de ellos. Puedo decir que me ha gustado trabajar con los caballos. Tuve la oportunidad de ir al museo del salón de la fama tanto de caballos como de jockeys y pude conocer una de las coronas más importantes de la larga trayectoria del meeting y también conocer algunos de los nombres de los jockeys más importantes al igual que los caballos. Sin dejar de mencionar que tuve la oportunidad también de montar el simulador de jockey que para mi fué una linda experiencia. No me lamento de la decisión de trabajar con los caballos.
El curso lo primero que me enseña es a ser más observador en el entorno donde trabajo y también me educó en cuanto a cómo tomar una fotografía y poder centrar y encontrar el punto de atracción, seguiré aplicándola y mejorándola.

I’m from the Dominican Republic, land of the Caribbean with lovely beaches and beautiful mountains. I recently arrived in the United States to work at the track with the race horses. After starting my job I have learned the value and importance of each of the partners that work around this type of animal and also to know the power and sensibility of them. This type of work has also taught me to appreciate and give the space deserved to not only the horses but to all the animals on the planet since we are the human beings who invaded their territory.
Inside the racetrack I have had the experience of seeing the strength and the hard training that each one of them carries out. I can say that I have liked working with the horses. I had the opportunity to go to the museum of the hall of fame of both horses and jockeys.
Not to mention that I also had the opportunity to get on the Jockey simulator which for me was a nice experience. I do not regret my decision to work with the horses.
The first things that the class taught me is to be more observant of the environment where I work, and it also educated me on how to take a photo and be able to focus it and find the point of attraction. I will continue using this and getting better at it.
