¡Hola! soy Estela, mi esposo y yo llegamos a Estados Unidos hace 16 años, vivimos en un rancho de vacas y estoy a cargo de la casa, tenemos tres hijos maravillosos y estamos acá, con la ilusión de darles un mejor futuro.
Soy una persona amigable, me gusta conocer gente nueva, también me gusta caminar, tomar aire en las tardes y disfrutar de mi familia, soy excelente cocinera y me encanta compartir lo que cocino y me hace muy feliz saber que a la gente le gusta lo que preparé.
La fotografía es hermosa, porque en una foto puedo transmitir muchas cosas como la esencia de las personas. En el curso de este año, en el cual tuvimos maestros muy buenas personas y que estaban ahí para ayudarnos, hicieron que la experiencia fuera muy bonita, porque formamos un grupo amable y se aprende mucho de esa manera. Por ejemplo, yo aprendí que un autorretrato no es igual a una selfie, también entendí cómo manejar la iluminación en una foto y lo más importante que comprendí, es que tomar la foto perfecta puede ser muy difícil pero no imposible y si seguimos practicando y practicando, podemos tomar fotografías muy hermosas como la de mis soldaditos (mis hijos), en la que capturé la esencia de ellos sin saberlo y me sentí muy contenta porque a los maestros les gustó.

Hello! My name is Estela, my husband and I came to the US 16 years ago, we live in a ranch and I am a housewife. We have three wonderful kids and we are here, with the hope that we can give them a better future.
I am a friendly person; I like meeting new people as well as walking in the afternoons and enjoying my family. I am a great cook and I like sharing what I cook it makes me happy to know that people like what I cook.
Photography is beautiful, because with a photo one can share so many things such as the essence of people. In this year’s class, in which we had teachers who are very good people and were there to help us, they made the experience very nice as they formed a friendly community where we can learn a lot. For example, I learned how a self-portrait is not the same as a selfie, I also learned how to handle the lighting in a photo. The most important thing I learned this year was that taking the perfect photo is super difficult but not impossible. If we keep practicing and practicing, we can take very beautiful picture. Like the picture of my little soldiers (my sons), in which I capture the essence of them. I’m glad my teachers liked the picture and hope you all do as well.
